Girls Dinner {Recap}

There are no real words to start this post. I'm at a loss for words- which if you know me, is very rare.

Preface: During the summer before starting our freshman year of college, my four closest girl friends and our momma's started a tradition. A Mother/Daughter Send-off dinner. We would all agree on a date, usually the few days leading up to leaving for college and get together for dinner at Villagio's.
This is one of my favorite traditions. It's a special night spent with wonderful company coinciding intimate conversations and laughter that continuously fills the room. One night each summer that each of us looks forward to. Texts being sent a mile a minute prior to meeting about what to wear and "can't wait to see you's" then immediately pulling out of the parking lot after dinner with "how did this night go so fast + miss you already's"

Each year we leave agreeing that it was "the best dinner yet." But this year truly did take the icing on the cake. It really was something special. Maybe it was because the days of seeing each other are far and few between. Or the fact that we have an unbreakable bond that when we reunite it's as if we've never skipped a beat. It's evident here, if you've been following for some time, how special these girls are and how much they mean to me! There's so much I want to say, but honestly can't find the words right now. Soooo, I'll let the pictures do the talking!!
------
Our first dinner; 2011 (who were those babies?!) We look way too young!! :) Right before starting our freshman year. Not knowing what to expect or how we would grow as young women. Through all of the changes, ups and downs of college life- we've been constants in each others lives.
Here were are four years later, heading into our senior year of college. My how time flies. This is not the last dinner. A tradition was started and it will continue. We still have many new jobs, apartments and other wonderful things to come that will most definitely be celebrated. Whatever endeavor we each pursue, the others will follow in tow- because that's what friends do.
Inseparable with these dolls since kindergarten :)
"But we know now that no matter how far we traveled on our own separate paths...somehow we should always find our way back to each other. And with that, we could get through anything"
-Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
 Beautiful Momma :)
 It's fun to compare all of the pictures to the ones prior. I really don't recognize those girls in the first picture! :) And the color coding every year was not planned!! Great girlfriends think alike :)
Cheers to you, my friends, my soul sisters! I love you to pieces.
